Literature Text

Erwartet jedoch Ruh.

Freiheit liegt in dir versteckt!
This was part of an exam in my german classes.
The task was quite easy, you could either choose to write about "Fire", "Friendship" or you had a "free chioce" what to write about.

I took the last option and tried to write a poem.¨
But that just looked too boring and I didn't think I could compete against actuall texts.
So I've searched for different forms of poetry and found the Idea of "Akrostichon" which actually means that if you only read the first Letter of every line, the letters actually form another Word.
In my case it's also mirrored in the middle.
Not only can you read "Freiheit" from both ends, but also the lines and the actual figure of the poem are mirrored.
Additionally I tried to talk about superficiality in the upper part of the poem and I tried to focus on the inside in the last few lines.

Enjoy!

Edit: unfortunately Deviantart fucks it all up and the mid-line actualle becomes two lines. It should be one line only, like the mirrors surface-line...
